نامۀ جعفر پیشه‌وری و رهبران فرقۀ موسوم به دموکرات در آذربایجان، به استالین. درخواستِ کمکهای مخفیانۀ تسلیحاتی از استالین توسط جعفر پیشه‌وری برای جداکردن آذربایجان از ایران.

«پیشه‌وری و سردسته‌های فرقهٔ تجزیه‌طلبِ موسوم به دموکرات در آذربایجان از استالین درخواست می‌کنند که مخفیانه برایشان اسلحه بفرستد، و به ‌او قول می‌دهند که نخواهند گذاشت کارگزاران دولت ایران از این موضوع اطلاع بیابند. آنها به ‌استالین هشدار می‌دهند که اگر دیر بجنبد منافع اتحاد شوروی در ایران به‌ خطر خواهد افتاد. به ‌او اطلاع می‌دهند که مردم آذربایجان خواهان جدائی از ایران هستند؛ ولی اگر استالین ترجیح بدهد که فعلا از ایران جدا نشوند هم همچنان برای برقرار کردن دولت سوسالیستی در ایران تلاش خواهند کرد تا کل ایران به شوروی وابسته شود.»
