Ученый секретарь Ботанического института АНА Алина Сангулия рассказала, что в октябре состоится VII съезд Совета ботанических садов, в котором примут участие представители стран СНГ. Кроме того, параллельно будет организована международная научная конференция "Роль ботанических садов. Сохранение и мониторинг биоразнообразия растений Кавказа", посвященная еще одной памятной дате - 130-летию Сухумского дендропарка.
