В 2016 году они получили тюремный срок за попытку присоединиться к Исламскому государству. Перед нападением террористы записали видеозапись с присягой МТО. Группировка пока не взяла ответственность за теракт. Впрочем, недавнюю резню в г. Беэр-Шева ИГ также обошло вниманием. Похвалил нападавших лишь ХАМАС.
