Был серьёзно ранен во время боя за Георгиевку: всушный коптер сбросил на него две гранаты. «Турист» получил открытый перелом голеностопа, закрытый перелом кисти и множественные осколочные ранения. Сейчас восстанавливается в краснодарском госпитале.
