Поварская улица. Дом князя Бориса Владимировича Святополк-Четвертинского. Бывший ЦДЛ (Центральный дом литераторов). Построен в конце 1880-х талантливым самоучкой Петром Самойловичем Бойцовым, архитектором без образования и очень плодовитым художником. Интерьеры выполнены в готическом стиле.
Последняя частная владелица дома — графиня Александра Андреевна Олсуфьева, бывшая статс-дама императрицы Александры Фёдоровны.
После революции хозяйка покинула Россию. В дом поселили (в духе тех дней) городскую бедноту. Затем здесь заседал один из отделов ВЦИК.
В 1932 году по просьбе Максима Горького дом был передан Союзу писателей СССР. В 1950-е годы фасад был изменён — дом расширен и пристроен. Здесь побывали все великие авторы советской литературы, и не только они. Теперь тут ресторан и, говорят, какой-то закрытый клуб. Геометка.
