«از نظر ما امضاکنندگان این مرقومه که بیش از ده سال با آقای دکتر مخبر و مجموعه تحت امر ایشان در خلال مسئله معدن قزل قیه تعامل و مراوده داشته ایم، کاملا مشخص و مبرهن است که شخصیت این فرد نمی تواند کمکی به ایجاد تحول در دولت جمهوری اسلامی کند و چه بسا یکی از بزرگترین موانع بر سر راه این تحول بسیار ضروری برای کشور باشد. ما امضاکنندگان این مرقومه ضمن اعلان برائت از یکان یکان گروه های سیاسی، اعلام میداریم این طومار را صرفا از سر دلسوزی نسبت به آینده سیاسی-اجتماعی نظام جمهوری اسلامی آماده کردیم تا حجت را بر خود و اطرافیان در این آگاه سازی جنابعالی تمام کنیم.»

One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. "Like the bombing of the maternity ward in Mariupol," he said, "Even before it hits the news, you see the videos on the Telegram channels." You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp.
