Надо сказать, что тогда, в конце 1992-начале 1994 гг. была потеряна почти вся поставленная до развала СССР бронетехника (танки уж точно). Срочные закупки в Восточной Европе тоже не очень помогли. К 1995 г., например, были потеряны почти все Т-62 - как немногочисленные "советские", так и купленные в странах бывшего ОВД.
