Ежегодно 3 декабря в России отмечается Международный день инвалидов или Международный день людей с ограниченными возможностями. 3 декабря 1992 года Генеральная Ассамблея ООН установила своей резолюцией Международный день инвалидов, призвав все человечество проводить 3 декабря различные мероприятия, к нему приуроченные и совершать добрые дела по отношению к нуждающимся.
