Дело расследуется по статье о нарушении правил дорожного движения и эксплуатации транспортных средств, повлекшем по неосторожности смерть человека (ч. 4 ст. 264 УК РФ), сообщили в ГУ МВД.
Авария произошла в среду. 43-летний водитель за рулем иномарки проехал на красный свет и на пешеходном переходе сбил пожилую женщину. Не сбавляя скорости, водитель скрылся с места аварии. От полученных травм пенсионерка скончалась.
Полицейские нашли и задержали автомобилиста. Решается вопрос об избрании ему меры пресечения.
Водителю может грозить от 5 до 12 лет лишения свободы.
