Первому нагрудный знак «Почетный гражданин Кузбасса» вручил нашему легендарному земляку – фронтовику Анатолию Терехову.

Анатолий Михайлович ушел на фронт в 18 лет и встретил великую Победу под Краковом, в Польше. Уже более 40 лет он высаживает кедры в местах боевой славы в память о сибиряках, кузбассовцах, не вернувшихся с фронта.

Место для торжественного мероприятия подобрали очень символичное – отдел военной истории Кузбасского краеведческого музея. Сегодня здесь открылся Федеральный музейно-выставочный проект «Маршалы Победы. Полководцы Великой Отечественной войны».

В экспозиции – кители, награды и другие личные вещи выдающихся советских полководцев, чьи имена связаны с ключевыми сражениями Великой Отечественной войны.

Мы помним их подвиги и чтим наших земляков, ветеранов, которые участвовали в тех боях. И в канун юбилея Победы для нас особая честь присвоить ветеранам-фронтовикам звание «Почетный гражданин Кузбасса».
