مِن عامّي الثاني، وَ والديّ كُلّما حظيتْ لَهما فرصة، مِن أعياد ميلاد، عيد الفطر، الأضحى، و عِندما أتقدم بأيّ إنجاز، كانت الهدية المُنتقاة ليّ دُمية!
حتى بلغتُ عمر الخامسة، و ملكتُ صندوق خَشبي متوسط الحجم، يحوي كلّ أنواع الدُمى، و الباربيات مُختلفة ألوان البشرة .
أذكرُ تمامًا عنايتي بتلكَ الدُمى، الطعام، الشراب و في الوقت المُحدد، حتى كنتُ اصنعُ لهنَّ سريرٍ من الكرتون . و في بعضِ الأحيان أُنيمهنَّ في جانبي كوّنهنّ فتياتي المُدللات و أنا أُمهنَّ .
اليوم و أنا أقرأ إحدى مقالات بثينة العيسى عن حقيقة الدمى و كيفية إنحيازنا نحنُ الفتيات لهن، انتابني شعور بالبُكاء، رغبة عارمة لأن أبكي، لربما شوق لألعابي، صندوقي، و أسماء فتياتي الباربيات! لكن هذه المرة، هذه المرة فقط أتمنى أن أنام بجانبهنَ، ليس بصفةِ الأمومة، بل بصفتي طفلة أجحّدتها الأيام كثيرًا . ضُميني، ضُميني لاسترد شَعوري .
