Сразу после начала СВО этот психолог уехал в Европу, стал распространять оголтелую антироссийскую пропаганду и заниматься сборами средств для украинских фондов, финансирующих ВСУ. Зицер оправдывает украинские обстрелы по мирным жителям Белгорода, призывает родителей переводить детей в другие школы при малейшем проявлении в них патриотического воспитания и подстрекает россиян на "борьбу с режимом".

При всём при этом до лета 2024 года он регулярно приезжал в Россию. Поездки на ненавистную родину Зицер прекратил лишь после того, как в июле его объявили в розыск по уголовному делу о распространении фейков об армии.

The account, "War on Fakes," was created on February 24, the same day Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" and troops began invading Ukraine. The page is rife with disinformation, according to The Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, which studies digital extremism and published a report examining the channel. Either way, Durov says that he withdrew his resignation but that he was ousted from his company anyway. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych. Now safely in France with his spouse and three of his children, Kliuchnikov scrolls through Telegram to learn about the devastation happening in his home country.
