Почти такая же, Никитская, церковь стоит и во Владимире, только воздвигли ее на несколько десятков лет раньше. И там уже чистое барокко, с большим разнообразием внешних архитектурных элементов. Парадокс в том, что для Владимира, который славится своим белокаменными и строгими храмами, такая церковь сродни появлению Эйфелевой башни в Париже.
Не самый очевидный выбор для Владимира и не самый очевидный объект для подражания.
