Вчера мы писали, что Росбанк обжалует в Суде ЕС европейские ограничительные меры. Сегодня канцелярия Суда ЕС опубликовала карточки дел Tinkoff Bank v. Council (T-275/23) и Alfa-Bank v. Council (T-271/23).
В первом деле язык судопроизводства - 🇫🇷 французский, во втором - 🏴английский.
Эти юридические лица объединены не только тем, что санкции против них ввели в один день (25.02.23). Совет ЕС предусмотрел для всех трех банков специальное основание для разблокировки активов до 26.08.23.
Отметим, что для Альфа-Банка предусмотрено дополнительное основание - разблокировка активов для совершения сделок, связанных с бенефициарами еврейской Конференции по искуплению (Jewish Claims Conference) до 26.11.23.

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." Stocks dropped on Friday afternoon, as gains made earlier in the day on hopes for diplomatic progress between Russia and Ukraine turned to losses. Technology stocks were hit particularly hard by higher bond yields. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments. "The argument from Telegram is, 'You should trust us because we tell you that we're trustworthy,'" Maréchal said. "It's really in the eye of the beholder whether that's something you want to buy into."
