Бои за столицу Черноземья продолжались 212 суток. Дольше держались только 3 города-героя: Ленинград, Новороссийск и Севастополь.
Против наших бойцов воевали солдаты 12 стран гитлеровской коалиции, но полностью захватить столицу Черноземья оккупанты так и не смогли. 25 января 1943 года бойцы 60-й армии водрузили победное Красное знамя в самом центре Воронежа.

What gives? Andrey, a Russian entrepreneur living in Brazil who, fearing retaliation, asked that NPR not use his last name, said Telegram has become one of the few places Russians can access independent news about the war. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback.
