Работы проводились в рамках федерального проекта «Чистая вода», национального проекта «Жилье и городская среда» и государственной программы Московской области «Развитие инженерной инфраструктуры, энергоэффективности и отрасли обращения с отходами на 2023–2028 годы».
Старый водозаборный узел, построенный 50 лет назад, был реконструирован: заменены насосы, установлены фильтры и система обратного осмоса, отремонтированы резервуары чистой воды и перестроено здание. Благодаря этому объем подачи воды увеличился с 5 тысяч до 7,5 тысяч кубометров в сутки, что улучшит качество питьевой воды для 17 тысяч жителей.
