У самолета ЯК-40 славная история – в 1973 году его выпустил Саратовский авиационный завод, он выполнял рейсы по международным направлениям.

Воздушное судно находилось на балансе международного аэропорта «Владикавказ» более 20 лет стояло на земле, было восстановлено.

Проведена большая работа по фюзеляжу, стойкам шасси — всё было восстановлено, зашпаклевано, загрунтовано, закрашено. Самолет находится сейчас в идеальном состоянии.

Установка самолета была выполнена по инициативе Главы РСО – Алания Сергей Меняйло.
