«В следующую пятницу, 28 июля, Тверской суд г. Москвы (судья Беляков) приступит к основному разбирательству по делу защитников Омбудсмена полиции Евгения Моисеева, Ирины Андиной и Василия Федорова. Всех обвиняют в заведомо ложном доносе и искусственном создании доказательств (ч.3 статьи 306 УК). Однако, среди пунктов обвинения «тайная слежка за оперативниками и следователями столичной полиции» и «дискредитация правоохранительных органов России». Приговор по их делу уже давно известен. Сроки, которые будут назначены, были озвучены и подсудимым, и Тверскому суду еще в прошлом году. Теперь осталось только формально провести слушания и огласить приговор».

You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. This makes using Telegram across multiple devices simple, but also means that the regular Telegram chats you’re having with folks are not as secure as you may believe. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market.
