На встречу с населением выехал аким города Омар Жаксылык. Видео с места появились в сети. В комментариях казахстанцы поддерживают требования ахмировцев. Люди пишут, что в связи с переходом на единый часовой пояс темнеть стало рано — и ходить по неосвещённым улицам опасно.

Жители требуют, чтобы на их проблему обратили внимание. Власти пообещали установить новый светофор уже в ближайшие дни.
