В практически идентичной с Псковской по числу жителей Новгородской области ситуация с уровнем преступности острее: она в данном рейтинге на 80-м месте. В 2025 году у соседей было зарегистрировано 191,9 преступления на 10 тысяч жителей (-3,5%), в том числе 58,3 особо тяжких (+0,6%).
