В этом году жители Владивостока погрузились в атмосферу православного Рождества через концерты в торговых центрах. Хор Покровского храма исполнил вчера святочные песни возле ТЦ «Седанка Сити», а в «Калина Молл» состоялись два концерта с участием детей и взрослых. Номера были короткими, но привлекали внимание прохожих, которые останавливались, чтобы послушать. Организатор мероприятий, Протоирей Ростислав Мороз, отметил важность таких концертов для знакомства людей с праздником и его значением. Концерт открыл детский фольклорный ансамбль «Небывальщина», который представил театрализованное выступление. Публика была разнообразной: от родителей до школьников, и все наслаждались атмосферой праздника. В завершение программы выступил церковный хор, исполнивший короткие песни о Рождестве.

In a message on his Telegram channel recently recounting the episode, Durov wrote: "I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation." At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists."
