Первое в этом году заседание обновленного состава общественного совета при Избирательной комиссии Псковской области состоялось 15 января. На заседании новым председателем совета единогласно избран председатель Общественной палаты Псковской области Александр Седунов.
Орган создан для обеспечения взаимодействия Избирательной комиссии Псковской области с институтами гражданского общества и гражданами при рассмотрении вопросов, подлежащих общественному обсуждению, а также для изучения и анализа общественного мнения.
