Производитель заявляет о ряде улучшений технических характеристик и потребительских свойств относительно предыдущего поколения – хоппера 19-1244. Так, в новом вагоне грузоподъемность была увеличена с 78 до 79 т, объем кузова повышен со 109 до 111 м3, а массу тары удалось снизить с 22 до 21 т.
