Новым начальником Главного штаба и командующим Национальной армии Молдовы предложен бывший военный атташе в США, действующий командующий миротворческим контингентом Республики Молдова в зоне безопасности Приднестровского конфликта полковник Виталий Миков, сообщил на заседании правительства министр обороны Анатолий Носатый.

Новому командующему НАРМ ставится задача "спланировать и имплементировать реформы в Национальной армии для обеспечения и трансформации института обороны для обеспечения мира и продвижения демократических ценностей в стране".
