🗓️ 55 лет назад, 2 декабря 1969 года, в газете «Камчатская правда» была опубликована статья А. Хатимова и В. Мартыненко, в которой впервые было заявлено о необходимости создания в Петропавловске-Камчатском рыбацкого музея.
«Увы, о рыбацком деле на Камчатке не так уж много книг. К сожалению, областной краеведческий музей не располагает достаточным количеством материалов, по которым можно восстановить рыбацкую летопись Камчатки… Музей рыбака стал бы еще и хранилищем коллективного опыта тружеников моря, из богатейших кладовых которого черпали бы знания молодые штурманы, раковые мастера. Это был бы своего рода университет рыбацкого ремесла».
📣 Много лет по-настоящему подвижническую работу по сохранению традиций рыбацкой Камчатки ведет выдающийся краевед и летописец рыбацкой Камчатки Сергей Вахрин. Совсем недавно по-настоящему современный рыбацкий музей открылся благодаря «Океанрыбфлоту».
