Вчера стало известно о готовности "Новатэка" приобрести долю в проекте "Сахалин-2", которой до июня 2022 года владела пока британская "Shell plc" (27,5%).
Однако, помимо доли, у "Shell plc" был контракт на 1 млн тонн СПГ в год проекта "Сахалин-2". В настоящее время весь объём распродаётся ООО "Сахалинская Энергия" на спотовом рынке.
"Новатэку" было бы выгодно включить этот СПГ в свой портфель, так как цена по контракту существенно ниже спотовой в Азии, что позволяет получать повышенную прибыль.
Очевидно, что по аналогичной причине ПАО "Газпром" и японские акционеры заинтересованы в его сохранении в общем пуле проекта "Сахалин-2" с распределением прибыли между всеми участниками.
