В семи водных артериях общественники обнаружили следы единичного и массового браконьерства, чаще на приустьевых участках, то есть небольшое количество горбуши в эти реки все же заходило, но ее выловили браконьеры.
К сожалению, обследованные реки составляют основу нерестового фонда тихоокеанских лососей юго-западного Сахалина. Это означает, что рыба должна встречаться повсеместно и в большом количестве. Но ее нет практически совсем.
Восстановится ли популяция – большой вопрос, ответ на который может заставить себя ждать несколько десятков лет.

Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video message on Tuesday that Ukrainian forces "destroy the invaders wherever we can."
