Юлениссе положено угощать кашей. Поэтому каша в Норвегии - рождественское блюдо. Ниссе любит рисовую кашу на молоке. Обязательно с кусочком масла (smørøye - буквально масляный глаз, похоже кстати😅). Современный юлениссе предпочитают еще и с корицей. Забавно было услышать, когда смотрела фильм "Nissejakt", как маленький мальчик рассказывал о том, что юлениссе любит кашу с маслом и корицей. Эти гномы из хлева не так просты:)

В кашу кладут миндальный орешек. И кому он попадется, тому дарят марципановую свинку, которые в супермаркете начали продавать уже в октябре.

Мы тоже запаслись кашей для ниссе. С маслом, корицей и на норвежском молоке, как гласит надпись на упаковке.
