Русло Серебрянки здесь спрямили в 40-х предположительно годах прошлого столетия, чтобы построить аэродром, поэтому берега выше, чем везде, подросший на берегу ельничек задерживает снег, оставляя лошадям с восточной стороны траву, но именно это и способствует высоким снежным наметам по берегам. Как и почему лошадь оказалась в воде, неизвестно.
