Почему RGBI индекс для меня – нишевый инструмент.

Потому что толку от него - только на больших движениях.

Почему? Потому что то, чем мы торгуем, находится в этом индексе в минимальных весах.


На рисунке следующая колористика по весам:
Меньше 1% – зеленый
От 2% до 4% - синий
От 4% до 5.04% - красный
Свыше 7% - черный

В красном "овале" – ОФЗ 26246, 247 и 248. Собственно, где бОльшая часть "движухи". На эти облигации в индексе приходится суммарно ... 2.16%.
Индекс RGBI в основном состоит из балласта. И поэтому - недостаточно эффективен.
