В ночь с 16 на 17 мая в Тульской области были задержаны начальник миграционной службы полковник Денис Оськин и его заместитель Елена Викторовна Боровик.
Они подозреваются в организации незаконной миграции и превышении должностных полномочий.
По данным следствия, задержанные создали организованную преступную группу, которая на протяжении трех лет незаконно поставила на миграционный учет более 700 иностранных граждан.
Помимо задержанных полицейских, в деле фигурируют еще 11 человек, некоторые из которых могут быть связаны с национальными диаспорами региона. Следствие продолжает устанавливать всех членов ОПГ. Расследование уголовного дела продолжается.

He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. Recently, Durav wrote on his Telegram channel that users' right to privacy, in light of the war in Ukraine, is "sacred, now more than ever." On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change.
