Он сказал, что это решение «оздоровит отношения» Тбилиси и Брюсселя, так как сейчас этим вопросом «часть европейских политиков и бюрократов» «шантажирует» его страну.
Также Грузия до конца 2028 года отказывается от всех бюджетных грантов со стороны ЕС.
При этом он пообещал, что к концу 2028 года Грузия «с экономической точки зрения будет готова начать переговоры о вступлении в ЕС в 2030 году».
