Даниловские градозащитники сообщают, что у Северной железной дороги появились серьезные планы по сносу исторического здания местного паровозного депо, построенного еще при царе (в 1905 году).

На данный момент при депо демонтировали ради металлолома повортный круг (фото 3). С 1993 года локомотивное веерное депо станции Данилов СЖД, вместе с поворотным кругом и зданиями мастерских, имеет статус выявленных объектов культурного наследия и охраняется государством (на бумаге). Здания мастерских тоже уже не дожили до наших дней, их снесли в прошлом году.
