Запомнить можно так:
⚫️borrow — действие К 🔙: брать в долг (от древнеанглийского borg "pledge, bail, debt") e.g. Can I borrow 5 bucks? I'll pay you back tomorrow.
⚫️lend — действие ОТ: 🔜 даём в долг (только не друзьям) (от древнеанглийского lænan "to grant temporarily, lease out, make loans, lend money at interest") e.g. Irefuse to lend 5 bucks to my buddy. Hasn't he seen today's exchange rate?

Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. The fake Zelenskiy account reached 20,000 followers on Telegram before it was shut down, a remedial action that experts say is all too rare.
