Adam is not the first human created by God. Adam is the first human put in the garden of Eden by Yaweh (which is a different god) and Yaweh being a lessor god could not create only transform the clay into a man and the women from his rib. Yaweh needed material the creator God had already made.

The race of Adam (Jews) were made by a lessor deity. Their offspring were both murderers. Abel murdered animals and Cain murdered Abel. Yaweh wanted blood sacrifices and death rituals.

He banshed Adam and Eve from the garden but is still hanging out with them and taking sacrifices from their offspring because he too was kicked out of Eden..
