Сегодняшняя презентация моего нового романа в Цесисе, во Всемирном центре латышского искусства, для меня лично стала важной вехой.
Организация, которая занимается сохранением наследия латышских изгнанников, предоставила площадку русскому беженцу - и латвийскому гражданину.
Очень приятно и трогательно было встретить людей, которые приехали на эту встречу из других городов. Благодаря этому я действительно ощущаю, что здесь я - дома!
И ради благополучия и безопасности этого дома стоит много и упорно трудиться.

Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals.
