🇹🇷🇦🇿🇺🇿The trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Uzbekistan to be held tomorrow in Ankara will be devoted to a wide range of cooperation between the countries

🔹Bearing in mind the strategic importance of energy in regional geopolitics, topics could include cooperation on oil and gas such as TAP and potential participation in projects such as the TAPI pipeline, where Uzbekistan could play an important role in transit or energy supply.

🔹The Middle Corridor connecting Asia to Europe via the Caspian Sea is of particular interest. This corridor includes rail and road networks that can be developed to increase transit of goods through these countries.

🔹Bearing in mind the common Turkic heritage, cultural exchanges, educational programs and people-to-people contacts are likely to be on the agenda to promote unity and cultural cooperation.

Based on the outcome of the discussion, we should expect to see new agreements or frameworks for cooperation that will strengthen political, economic and cultural ties between Azerbaijan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good.
