I have posted little in regards to druidry so, I give you this. Take some time today, just five minutes, to breathe. No grand forest needed - it can be done in a dirty living room in a big city just as easy. Don't worry about the thoughts in your head. In through the nose, out through the mouth.

As you breathe in, imagine pure smoke entering your nose, filling your body end to end. As you breathe out, imagine dark, murky smoke exiting your mouth. Continue for five minutes.

Enjoy the clear(er) head.

Six #Tesla Gigafactories are scattered around the globe to produce Elon #Musk's electric #cars.
To meet the demand of the European market, a factory was built in #Germany. It is located on the outskirts of Berlin and has a production capacity of 500,000 vehicles per year.
The region around #Berlin, although it has many small lakes, is one of the driest regions in Germany. Activists and residents of the area feared the water consumption and pollution that the #Gigafactory would bring.

About two years after the factory was built, plans surfaced to expand the 300-acre site by another 130 acres. In response, activists have been occupying the #forest adjacent to the #Gigafactory since February.
This week, after nine months the occupation was evicted. It was suspected that there were bombs from the world wars in the forest area. It was said that it would be necessary to leave the forest, for some days, as long as it would take to search for the explosives.

And with the Witching Hour at hand, autumn turns to yuletide.

My toddler, just the other day, made a point to say, "Bye, tree! See you soon!" to a nearby tree while we were walking away. I think children are natural animists - it is very easy for them to say "sorry" to a rock if they drop it or talk to a worm like it will talk back. They just naturally seem to see their connection with the world in a way we've lost with colonialism and industrialism.

May we all have the ecocentrism of a child.

If you live in the Northern Hemisphere like I do, and find that you feel the desire to slow down about this time, whether that is in your faith practice or your work or anything else, listen to that. It is your ancestral memory talking. Humans are just as much cyclical creatures as any other animal. Sit down with a candle, drink some hot cocoa, lounge. In an era where everyone is expected to go and do everything as quickly as possible it is revolutionary to listen to your body and just do nothing for a while.
