Напомним, в ноябре 2022 в ЕС вступил в действие новый закон о цифровых услугах (Digital Services Act, DSA). Обязанности различных онлайн-игроков зависят от их роли, размера и влияния на онлайн-экосистему. «Очень большие онлайн-платформы» (VLOP), насчитывающие более 45 миллионов пользователей в месяц, должны будут ежегодно проводить широкомасштабную оценку рисков возможного негативного воздействия их сервисов, например, в вопросах доступа к нелегальным товарам, запрещённого контента или распространения дезинформации.
Для нарушителей нового закона предусмотрены оборотные штрафы.
