Westinghouse Electric оголосила, що Комісія з ядерного регулювання США (NRC) схвалила новітню систему контролю та управління мікрореактором eVinci – Advanced Logic System (ALS) v2. Цей крок відкриває шлях до автономної експлуатації.
Трансформаційний підхід до управління мікрореактором мінімізує потребу в нагляді оператора, забезпечуючи більшу автоматизацію та більшу безпеку.
Westinghouse планує до 2028 року створити чотири демонстраційні установки, а до 2030 року – запустити в тестову роботу два мікрореактори потужністю 5-10 МВт. ⚡️
Очікується, що eVinci працюватиме щонайменше вісім років без дозаправки. За потреби одночасно на місці буде встановлено замінний блок. Крім циклів дозаправки, блоки розраховані щонайменше на 40 років експлуатації.
