В книжном магазине «Фаланстер» прошла презентация книги «Циммервальдская альтернатива» (Черный квадрат, 2024), вышедшей к 110-й годовщине начала Первой мировой войны. Составители и редакторы сборника Алексей и Юлия Гусева, историки Дмитрий Рублев и Ярослав Леонтьев рассказали о книге и драматической истории антивоенного движения этого периода. (Презентация, кстати, прошла 11 сентября, в годовщину чудовищного расстрела политзаключенных Орловской тюрьмы в 1941 г., унесшего жизни многих бывших циммервальдистов.)
В ближайшее время мы опубликуем аудиозапись презентации.

Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike.
