Основных высот специалист достиг, возглавляя столичное "Динамо". В 2007 году он привёл москвичей к триумфу в Кубке УЕФА. Многократный чемпион и обладатель Кубка страны - Юрий Николаевич - всегда отличался своими харизмой, эксцентричностью и эмоциональностью.
При этом, работая в различных городах и клубах, практически везде Руднев давал главное - результат. Мы долго ждали его возвращения к работе с одним из клубов Суперлиги, но пока не складывается. Хотя даже в свои 70 Николаич вряд ли затерялся бы скамейке запасных.
