يشيع بين بعضهم القول بأن صفات الحق تشارك صفات الخلق في اللوازم والآثار، مع قولهم بأن الاشتراك في الصفات اشتراك لفظي! وهذا غير مستقيم، وغلطه واضح لمن فهم المسألة. فالشركة اللفظية تقضي بعدم الشركة المعنوية وأن لا شركة إلا بحسب اللفظ. والشركة فيما يسمى لوازم وآثار شركة معنوية لا لفظية، فتدافع القولان وتنافر الرأيان، لا سيما وأنهم يجعلون الآثار واللوازم التي يشترك فيها الأمران هي مصحح الاطلاق اللفظي! فليس اللوازم التي يشترك فيها العلم الحادث والقديم من قبيل كونهما موجوين مثلًا، بل أخص من ذلك، فهو اشتراك في الأمر المصحح لانطلاق لفظ العلم عليهما، فافهم هذا ولا تغفل. وأشد خطأ من هؤلاء قوم يقولون بالأحوال ويفرعون على ذلك الصفات المعنوية ومع ذلك يقولون بالاشتراك اللفظي! وفوق هذا يقولون بأن الاشتراك في اللوزام والآثار! ولا أدري كيف جمعوا كل هذا: الإقرار بالاشتراك في اللوازم والآثار، والقول بالأحوال، ثم القول بعد ذلك بالاشتراك اللفظي!
