Побывал сегодня на показе фильма «Специальный корреспондент» в медиацентре парка «Зарядье», в Москве.

Честно говоря, всегда испытываю смешенное чувство, когда вижу себя на большом экране.

Сейчас всё больше медийка — это интернет-пространство на смартфонах и планшетах. Спасибо режиссёру Кате Аркаловой и команде Парка «Зарадье». Собраться в дружеской ламповой обстановке — бесценно.

In February 2014, the Ukrainian people ousted pro-Russian president Viktor Yanukovych, prompting Russia to invade and annex the Crimean peninsula. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. In the United States, Telegram's lower public profile has helped it mostly avoid high level scrutiny from Congress, but it has not gone unnoticed. The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes.
