Спасателям удалось локализовать пожар в поселке Сосьва (Свердловская область) на площади 9 тыс. кв. метров.

Огонь повредил более 100 построек, в том числе сгорело здание лечебно-исправительного учреждения (ЛИУ) №23 для заключенных. 240 зеков, больных туберкулезом и ВИЧ, были вынуждены покинуть ЛИУ-23 под надзором вооружённых сотрудников ФСИН и служебных собак.

Следователи сообщили о гибели человека в результате пожара в Сосьве. Около 700 человек остались без крова, возбуждены два уголовных дела.
