Since then, in human society, there have been two societies: one of the good, the other of the wicked; one of the just, the other of sinners; one of the children of God, the other of the children of man; the first, represented by Abel, Seth, Enoch, Noah; the second, by Cain and his descendants. When the corrupted part of mankind came to corrupt almost all the rest, God struck the flesh to save the spirit.
