В 1988г. , после Сумгаитского геноцида, вместе с семьей переехал в Разданский район РА, затем в НКР.В 1993-1994 годах участвовала в самообороне и освободительных боях Мартакертского и Кубатлинского районов в составе 44-й батальона Ванк ОА. Спасая раненого борца за свободу на передовой, она получил серьезное ранение, выздоровел и вернулась на поле боя.
