Соответствующее постановление приняло правительство региона. Первый комплекс появится в Череповце. Планируемая мощность – до 150 тысяч тонн отходов, из которых 30 тысяч тонн будут компостироваться. Второй комплекс построят на территории Великоустюгского округа. Планируемая мощность – до 30 тысяч тонн обработка, до 10 тысяч тонн компостирование. Третий комплекс планируется разместить в Сокольском округе, мощностью не более 40 тысяч тонн по обработке мусора и до 12 тысяч тонн по компостированию.
Все объекты будут строиться на условиях концессионного соглашения. Областному департаменту экономического развития предписано в срок до 20 марта 2023 года разместить информацию о конкурсах.
