В канадском городке Порт Роуэн необычные скворечники – в виде церковок. Причём не каких попало, а здешних, легко узнаваемых.

Их изготавливает местный житель, молодой человек с синдромом Дауна. «Ему всегда очень нравились храмы, он любил заходить в них, рассматривать витражи, слушать музыку… В них он чувствует ощущает себя счастливым, в безопасности, окружённым любовью», – объясняет его мать.

Скворечники его научил делать сосед несколько лет назад, и какое-то время спустя неожиданно ему пришла в голову идея «птичьей церкви».

«Взгляните на птиц небесных: они ни сеют, ни жнут, ни собирают в житницы; и Отец ваш Небесный питает их» (Мф.6:26).
