Губернатор Воронежской области Александр Гусев сыграл с легендарным гроссмейстером Сергеем Карякиным, с которым встретился в Совете Федерации 25 февраля. Это была символическая партия, которая не была завершена.
«Уверен, у нас будет возможность продолжить её [партию] в следующую встречу. Шахматы действительно объединяют и помогают лучше понять друг друга», – добавил Александр Гусев.
Он отметил высокий уровень гроссмейстера, талант которого вдохновляет многих. Глава региона добавил, что в Воронежской области существует достойная шахматная школа. Эту сферу он обещал не оставлять без внимания.
